Drawing inspiration from Isaiah 11:2-3, the maidens represent the gifts of wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord, all dressed in flowing white to reflect purity and grace.
The seven doves, flying above serve as the unmistakable symbol of the Holy Spirit. The presence of these doves reminds the viewer that these gifts come from a higher, divine source. Their graceful forms give the sense that they guide and empower the maidens, just as the Spirit works in our lives.
